Consultation Paper for the National Preventive Health Strategy

The National Preventive Health Strategy is a plan that the federal government is creating and they invited stakeholders to contribute feedback on this plan. ARONAH as part of the Australian Naturopathic Council (ANC) answered a series of questions the government posed on this strategy.

ARONAH and the ANC wrote a favourable response to the feedback, and are in support of this Preventive Health Strategy. A focus throughout the submission, was that naturopaths are involved in as many aspects of this preventative health strategy as possible. As naturopaths, we are in a very good position to assist in this area as we understand the role that prevention plays in health.

The Federal strategy will be developed by March 2021, and more information on it can be found here: https://consultations.health.gov.au/national-preventive-health-taskforce/consultation-paper-for-the-national-preventive-hea/
