Naturopathic Regulation Research Project – final report released

ARONAH is very pleased to announce that the Naturopaths Regulation Research Project has been completed. This is a culmination of 5 years of work coordinated by the Australian Naturopathic Council (ANC) representatives. This project updates, and adds to the 2005 Lin Report. It encompasses a thorough and systematic examination of the Australian naturopathy and Western Herbal Medicine workforce, the consumers who use naturopathic services, as well as the education landscape, the associations and groups that represent the profession, and a risk analysis of the practice of naturopathy.

The full report can be downloaded here.

Congratulations to the ANC as a whole, as well as the report authors: Dr Anne-Louise Carlton, Dr Jenny Carè, Professor Emeritus Stephen P. Myers, Dr Angela Doolan, Sophia Gerontakos PhD Candidate, and Associate Professor Amie Steel.
